The Doc Talk Show team is on a break. August is it.
Our next show is September 27th.
So, filmmakers now is the perfect time to send in your clip to jeff@groundswellfilms.org
It’s that easy to have your clip or short film considered.
We are eager to see new work and consider it for future shows. Our monthly themes evolve from your work. We accept trailers, clips from fully realized short docs, and clips from longer works-in-progress. 15 minutes is the limit, but let us know if you have one slightly longer. We make exceptions for exceptional films.
Jeff Spitz, Sundance Film Festival Alum and Columbia College Chicago professor curates and hosts the shows.
Columbia students film every show and create a recap video that promotes the filmmakers, films and The Doc Talk Show.
Here are two tasty samples edited and co-produced by Ian Roozrokh, a talented senior at Columbia College Chicago.
The Doc Talk Show is partially sponsored by a Faculty Development Grant from Columbia College Chicago.
Thanks to Uncommon Ground for making every last Thursday of the month possible 17 times since December 2016.
The Doc Talk Show is a free public program of Groundswell Educational Films (a Chicago-based 501c3 not-for-profit group). Donations are tax deductible. Please make your donation here.
